Free Yakka & Cake Social
There are two things no Union Society member can graduate university without having tasted: our signature Yakka lemon drink, ten times as strong as it tastes, and luxurious Cafe Continental Rd Velvet Cake.
They shall be provided in abundance, along with other cakes and Yakka variations, after the first General Committee of term on Wednesday 1st February. GenComm starts at 2.30pm in the Chamber, the social from 3.30pm in the Reading Room and Garden, 24 North Bailey Club.

Free Guided Tour of Durham Cathedral
Never properly seen Durham Cathedral? Explored the elusive Cathedral library all students can access? Remember the story of St. Cuthbert’s beheading? Want to impress visitors with your local knowledge?
The Union is arranging a special guided tour of the Cathedral at no cost to its members and £5 for non-members. Email president@dus.org.uk if interested, and watch for Union events on Facebook and your emails for more info.
