The Masquerade Ball
The annual Michaelmas Ball is the highlight of our social calendar and this year it will take on a touch of Venetian mystery, as the magic of masquerade transforms the splendour of Beamish Hall. 200 lucky guests will begin the night with a champagne reception, followed by a sumptuous three-course meal.
The Union provides a mix of the best live music. from the string quartet that serenades the champagne reception to the fantastic Ceilidh band that accompanies scottish dancing. after the three-course dinner. A DJ then plays until the early hours of the morning.
You can purchase your Ball tickets using the form included within our Freshers' Brochure on in person by card, cash or cheque at our office in Palace Green. This is best done sooner rather than later as demand for Ball tickets is always very high.
