The Union Ball

The annual Michaelmas Masquerade Ball is the highlight of our Michaelmas social
calendar. Held in the spectacular location of the Bishop's Palace, Bishop
Auckland. 180 lucky guests will begin the night with a champagne reception in the Bishop of Durham's personal chapel, followed by a sumptuous three-course meal in the splendour of the throne room and dancing until the early hours.

There will be live music throughout the evening. A String Quartet will accompany the Champagne Reception and there will be live jazz after Dinner. Other entertainments are currently being organised so please do keep an eye on the website for further announcements.

You can purchase your Ball tickets online through this website, using the form included within our Freshers' Brochure on in person at our office in Palace Green. This is best done sooner rather than later as demand for Ball tickets is always very high.
