The Winter Ball
The annual Michaelmas Winter Ball is the highlight of our Michaelmas social
calendar and is held in the splendour of Beamish Hall. 200 lucky guests will begin the night with a champagne reception, followed by a sumptuous three-course meal.
This year it is on Wednesday 12th November. Coaches leave Dunelm House at 1830.
The Union provides a mix of the best live music. A string quartet serenades the champagne reception. After the three course dinner we have booked a fantastic Ceilidh band to accompany scottish dancing. A DJ then plays until the early hours of the morning.
You can purchase your Ball tickets online through this website, using the form included within our Freshers' Brochure on in person at our office in Palace Green. This is best done sooner rather than later as demand for Ball tickets is always very high.
