So, for some reason, Lord Coe believes that the UK, with all its problems, can take on the might of the People's Republic of China and has only gone and won us the Olympics... Finally, East London will get the permanent kayak run it's always wanted Oh, and it's going to cost a fortune.

Does anyone think this is a really bad idea, and we ought to pay Athens to take it back?!
